Extra Time

I left work early with grandiose plans of all that I will get done today. Unfortunately I remembered the Dr's appointment at the wrong time, don't worry I called when I got home to get the time long before the appointment. But instead of going to the library I had more time so I went to do the laundry (I wanted to wash my new towels and Pat needed jeans). I almost had them dry when I had to run for the appointment So I took them out and carted them to the DR with me.

After the appointment I ran back and put them back in the dryer for another 20 minutes. Unfortunately that means I did not make it to the library. But I had just enough time to make a yummy chicken pot tie for dinner and watch (listen) to a movie. I was just finishing up when pat came home early to surprise me.

I got everything ready and took off for the gym. He put the pie in the oven while I was working out. And took it out to cool while I was in the shower. It was perfect getting out of the shower, serving myself warm chicken pot pie and settling down to watch Narnia, Prince Caspian. I wish I could get out early every day.
