Best Laid Plans

Today was one of the few days Purdue is on TV (football). I had the whole day planned out so I could get everything done not only before the game was finished but to also leave nothing to do on Sunday (It is supposed to be nice tomorrow).

I had the laundry all sorted and ready to go when Pat veto'd my getting laundry done on a Saturday. Oh the Horror, laundry on a Saturday!

Skipping the laundry, I went to the Gym and got a great workout in. After a quick shower I was off to STS to get my oil changed. Apparently everyone else in Somerset had the same plans and had came in just before me, their was a 1 ½ hour wait. Needless to say I skipped the oil change and went to tacobell for lunch. (It's going to be a junk food day, I LOVE junk food!).

After that I went to the bank, I still had hopes for the rest of my list. I'm not sure why as it took all morning to get 2 things crossed off my list. I was determined to get the final 2 erronds crossed off my list, leaving enough time to cook Junk food before the game.

My next stop was Petsmart where I was supposed to pick up a new water bottle for the girls. The old one leaks a lot, though it is worse when it is less then half full. I wanted to replace it for when we went on trips and had to leave them for 4 days. I just don't want to take the chance they will get wet when we are not home to dry them (chinchilla's can not get wet). Anyway I found a neat flip top bottle that I figured would be easy to clean. I picked up a few other odds and ends before running to my favorite grocery store, Wegman's. Someday I will write a whole post on the goodness that is Wegman's.

Unfortunitly all the pizza dough was frozen (not that it stopped me from stocking up). I was worried that I would have less junk food to eat while watching the game.

With all of the errands done I set out on making a very unhealthy yet delishous array of foods to eat whaile watching Purdue beat Noterdame. I started thawing the Pizza, Brownie bites were in the oven and Pat picked up NJ's best wings (actully their only good wings) from Chicken Holiday.

I sat down with my bottle of wine and very much enjoyed the first half. It's a pity my team left the stadium after the first half. Purdue lost the second half, Miserably, it was devistating to watch. They just couldn't prevent Notrdame from scoring and to make it worse they coulddn't get anyware near the end-zone. If they don't get better I'll not beable to watch them play very often on tv. And when I do it will be the same or worse then the game yesterday.

Oh and now I get to be on the recieving end of the 'my team killed your team' phone call on Monday. Sigh.

Today's steps;
