Work

I work with a few different Insurance companies. Today I heard from one that had an issue (not with me or my company).

She had a customer that was looking to have the adjuster pay for her rental bill. The adjuster had her name address and knew that she was renting from us. Normally an easy task. The adjuster needed to know what branch she rented from, so she asked. Easy right? The customer refused to give her the information. When the adjuster asked how she was supposed to pay for the rental with out the information. The customer actually said 'you'll figure it out'.

Seriously?!? You want money from the insurance company but refuse to give them the information that will allow them to pay for your rental. What world do you live in? If you want money from a company you should make it as easy as possible for them to get it to you.

Asking where you rented from makes their lives easier and allows for what you want to get done faster. Is it that hard to give a town's name? It's unfortunate The adjuster can't just say that she'll reimburse her when a paid bill is submitted, it may get more information out of her.

Don't worry I found the rental and the insurance company will pay for it.

Today's steps; 11020
